My coworker did not show up this week (she has been gone about 3 months now. Every Monday she is supposed to come back and that happened again this week....she is supposed to come back next Monday.... we will see. I hope she is okay. I tried calling her once but she did not return my call. So I did not try again as I did not want to "bug" her. I worry that she might not come back at all. Guess what will be, will be.

Today is my special lunch in honor of my anniversary at the company. I have been there 20 years and I can hardly believe it. One of the best perks aside from great health insurance is that I get 12 hours of PTO every 2 weeks. That really adds up. What's 12 x 26? That's how many hours of paid time off I get per year. I have been using it for doctor appointments this past year and it has been helpful for that. I try to get appointments late in the day so I don't have to use very much. I am taking a week off in December and just staying home and doing errands, etc. That might give me an idea what retirement will be like....
