Okay. SO, I have had a serious realization today. Maybe everyone and their uncle knows this, but I just figured it out. It is the fact that once we own up to our actual weight and stop living in denial that our journey will truely begin. We will be successful once we accept our problem. I should say that this isn't just for weight issues but almost any problem in our life. I was thinking about after we had our first daughter what steps I took in losing the 40lbs. 1~support 2~determination 3~acknowledging my issue and lastly being able to say I weigh 237 lbs. I have to lose at least 75 more.
I finished my usual 4 miles and I realized that I was talking with a friend and just saying what size I didn't fit into after our second daughter was born. (which by the way was a 22, I literally called my husband and started crying because I felt horrible and couldn't wear it...just fyi I can now wear a pair of jeans I bought when I lost some of the weight from our first child).
I've realized that by accepting the situation at hand and being able to discuss it makes all the difference in my success. I realized today that my success before was due to great support, determination and acceptance and being able to say this is who I am right now, but it's not who I'm going to be tomorrow!
Thanks SP!!!!
