Tell me if this has happened to you during your weight loss journey:
"I'm working out. I'm walking/running. I'm lifting weights and/or doing strength training. The scale stays the same, but my clothes feel looser!"
There's a reason. Five pounds of FAT is a larger VOLUME than five pounds of MUSCLE. Here's a picture:
Can you see it now? Put the five pounds of fat in your right butt cheek, and five pounds of muscle in your left butt cheek. The right side is going to be BIGGER than the left. They'll weigh the same.
