on continuing success

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Quick to the point, I'm great on continuing my C25K training commitment and other activity commitments, but not so much on the nutrition front.

I'm not sure if I'm lazy or as one of my SP friends commented am I gearing up for the winter hibernation phase!

All I can say is I will keep working at it. Trying to be one choice better every day until I'm making better choices all day every day!

On another front, I took a kickboxing class from a SP friend REEKU731. I expected her to "kick" my bu**, but I think I really hung in there. My punching and kicking at the bag was (reportedly) good. My balance wasn't the best. All in all, I'd recommend the class to anyone. . .

Today, we "Pray for snow". My ski club in Albuquerque meets and has some creative (yet inane!) rituals to encourage the snow gods to be generous to us this season. I promise (all you sno haters) to pray for snow ONLY on the mountains we ski!!

What every your Sunday brings, may it be the best one yet!

Yay!!! It was wonderful to meet you on Saturday and I hope you had fun at the Kickboxing class! I hope to see you at other classes in the future! You did a fabulous job in the class and I hope you had a good time!

And I agree with you - my body is gearing up for that winter hibernation phase too! I seem to be holding on to lots of extra squish recently that my body just doesn't wanna give up!

I pray for snow only on ski hills as well....but I am afraid it is in our forcast for this whole week. I also think being in great physical shape one ups perfect food intake. Your motivation is a great inspiration for lots of us.
