Just had a lovely day at my daughter's basketball tournament. Because we were far from home, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. I didn't know what calories were in the food for sure, but knew I'd be pushing my luck, so I chose the chicken pasta bake and ate just 3/4's of it, giving the last 1/4 to my husband. After lunch, between games I was thrilled to get the chance to work out on a stair stepper for 25 minutes in the gym at the community center the girls were playing at.

Came home and charted the food, and was pleased to see I still had enough calories left for a light supper.

Until, hubby gets a phone call inviting us out for dinner tonight at a fancy restaurant. Augh! He really wants to go, so we are going, and I'm going to need some steel bars to place over my mouth! I went ahead and ate an afternoon snack because the last thing I want to do is get to the restaurant starving hungry.

I'm determined to make as healthy and low-calorie a choice as I can tonight, even if it means having a bowl of soup and some crackers. I don't want to blow my calorie limit today. I've already been stuck at a plateau for eight days now.

Sigh. I'm done venting now. Out into the cold brrrrr air to do my evening chores before heading off to the restaurant!

I did it! I actually managed to stay within my calorie range even with eating out. I am very proud of me! emoticon

Even if you go over a little today (or last night), it is okay. You can get back on track today.
