Unfortunately, I do have to say goodbye to my gym membership. $35 a month is killing me, especially when I'm struggling to fit 40+ hours of work in so I can keep on going to school full time. Also, I don't have the time to go there, plus walk my dog a mile everyday.
As a result, I'm doing some home workouts:
Day 1 (Friday): I decided to take my dog on a two mile run around the neighborhood. Not exactly a run, but an interval walk/run. Let's just say it wasn't the nicest on my knees and my quads were in so much pain on Saturday.
Day 2 (Sunday): Took the dog on a 1 mile walk. Then did a kickboxing workout video and a yoga video.
Day 3 (Monday): Took the dog on a 2 mile walk/run, but this time go the opposite direction on our route, which this way is much more hilly. Good news is that my knee isn't hurting as much.
At least so far so good. Still need to cancel the gym membership though.
