Well, I have to admit, I haven't been very motivated lately. I've been trying to lose weight since January and lost a ton. Now, that it's November, I can feel myself getting less motivated. I'm still working out 4 days a week but, boy, do I have to push myself. #sigh# I'm hoping this is a phase and I'll get myself out of the "self-composed slump" soon.

I agree try switching up your exercise routine. Try zumba, kickboxing, dance, just something different. It also helps our body by shocking it into losing more weight. I love doing this it keeps everything fresh and new. After a few months you might want to cycle back to what you have been doing.

You're still doing it, and that's what counts. Maybe it's time to try something new, though? Set a new goal. Find something to work toward? That always helps pull me out of those slumps!

Don't let the slump take control. You have done amazing with your weight loss. Try mixing it up and finding something else that is fun to add a new twist to your routine. Not sure what you did but try a new gym, join the Rec. Center, sign up for belly dancing, etc. Something new and different that keeps you moving and motivated. I am a long time member of Spark and the reason is I lose weight, I fall in a slump and I gain it back. I am proud to say I have now been active since January 1st and I have not hit a slump yet. So I am hoping I am out of the woods and do not fall back into old habits.
