My 3 yr old niece has leukemia

Thursday, November 04, 2010

This week we found out that my 3 year old niece has leukemia. She started chemotherapy, which is such a tough thing for a little one to endure. She needs all the prayers she can get. She's such a wonderful little girl and I'm so sad that she's sick. I'm even sadder that she's in isolation and I can't even visit her. I can't hold her or hug her. I can't give her a kiss or even a silly high-five. All I can do is ask everyone that I know to pray hard for her.

That is truly heartbreaking news. I will add your niece as well as you and her family to my prayers! How sad that she is in isolation and you can't even hug her or anything. Are her parents able to? I just can't imagine how difficult this is for you all! Hugs and prayers to you all! Be sure to keep us posted as to her progress. Prayers do work!

Oh my, news like that breaks my heart, especially a child. Your family, and most importantly your niece will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh my goodness, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am a mom to a 3 year old (and a 6 year old) and this really hits home!
