Things have been stressful. Two jobs, school, lack of "me time", lack of sleep and general rest...leads up to me being constantly tired and unmotivated. As much as I try to do good in one area of my life, another becomes neglected. Blah.
I hadn't been eating very healthy, hadn't been working out...and I'm slowly trying to get back into the groove. Let's face it, we feel better when we take care of ourselves. I'm trying to do better at taking care of myself.
So today, even though I was exhausted, I walked home. Its 2.5 miles. I ate a salad with chicken for lunch, and a healthy dinner at home today. I will finish the week out with more healthy eating, and more walking. Next week, I will return to the gym. I want to pick up the C25K program again, and will likely repeat week 3 as my starting point.
My goals for this week, and some shortish long-term goals:
-plan meals
-stick to workout schedule
-write in journal daily
-drink more water
shortish long-term (by end of year):
-lose 13 pounds.
-be able to run for a full mile without walking.
