I hit a plateau in October (gosh, does any of this sound familiar?)
I worked hard to lose 10 pounds on the 10/10/10 challenge and I did. Then I just felt like I needed a breather, a tiny break. I still worked out everyday (I'm on the 100 Day Challenge), and logged my food (except for maybe a day or two) and I went on the higher end of my calorie range (and sometimes off the chart a little). My end result was that I am only half a pound heavier than I was on 10/10/10.
November I am focused. I am doing NaNoWriMo which will take me 1 - 2 hours a day. (It is a writing challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days - November. I did it last year and finished a nice little Christmas romance). I am still doing one hour of cardio a day, and it happens to coincide that 11/30/10 will be my Day 100 of the 100 Day challenge. You don't come so far to give up.
So what will propel me forward? (What didn't I do that I should have in October?)
I will drink my WATER!
I will eat 5 - 7 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
I will continue my hour of cardio (walking usually) each day
I will PRE-track my food BEFORE I put it into my mouth so I can stay on the lower end of my calorie range
I will continue to Spark!
Thanks to all my Spark friends for keeping me feeling motivated. We're all in this together!
Here's to a noteworthy November!
