Happy Halloween, or whatever

Today being official Hallowen, I woud like to wish you all a great scary day.
Really, I don't participate in Halloween anymore. I am at the age that it is just another day where kids get to get candy and adults get to act like kids. It's OK but not my favorite day.
It is more of a merchant holiday then it used to be. I mean, we used to make our own costumes and take an old pillow case to put candy in. It was fun to see what kinds of ideas others came up with and how scary they could be.
Today it is to see how much you can spend on costumes and outside decorations and candy. It's all about money and that, for me, takes the fun out of it.
We don't even get kids at our house anymore as they all go to the malls or fairgrounds to get their candy and don't go house to house. Sort of sad if you stop to think about it.
But, however you celebrate Halloween, I hope you have a great, fun, exciting, and thrilling day.
