Today has been a MUCH better day. I am feeling better. Still coughing a little bit but the medication combination that Dr. Chuck gave me seems to be doing the trick and I am definitely seeing the end of the cooties, I think. I'm seriously hoping to lick this cold and then be able to get the flu shots that I have been recommended to get.
This morning I taught both of my water aerobic classes in the pool. My DH joined me, a big surprise and took both classes. We had a really good time. The ladies really seemed to enjoy meeting him. Paul is so shy that he barely said two words in the two hours we were there. Sort of ruins the fun of sharing his lovely welsh accent with them, but I'm just happy that he joined us. He doesn't swim and doesn't really like the water (imagine DAWNWATERWOMAN being with someone who doesn't like the water or swim) so it was very generous of him to go with me today. Our anniversary is this weekend and I think that it was his way of doing something special for me. He ordered a bathing suit for me as an anniversary gift. I desperately needed a new one since the last one I got lasted a whole 3 weeks. (I can still wear it but the skirt now almost touches the ground and you can read the bible through parts of it... chlorine is NOT my friend)
Today was payday so I deposited money into the bank to pay bills and we also bought some supplies needed for the Halloween party that we are going to this Sunday. I'm fixing a lot of the food & taking it with me. This is my way of ensuring that there are foods that I can eat and enjoy without ruining my food plan.
This evening there were only three ladies who came to the deep water class. It was small but good. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed some good conversation while working out. We joked about an article that I read stating that talking during workout is a good thing because it ensures that the participants are breathing. Believe me, I give them a good workout, so the fact that we can still talk & have fun is a good thing.
Tonight we're watching whatever scary movies that we can find on tv. We've already watched a bunch of Jason movies and now there's a Michael Meyers movie on. I am a HUGE horror film fan so this time of year is perfect for me.
Time to get some sleep. Bright blessings to you all. Happy Halloween weekend. Remember... leave the treats alone! Love, Dawn
