So I have come a long way! I've lost over 30 lbs and only have 10 more. My muscles are strong and more defined, and I am enjoying life again. Doing things with my teenagers and going on exciting dates (dancing) with my husband (boyfriend). What a wonderful life. But my question is why... Why am I holding on to those last 10 lbs? I realize they are a security blanket... The blanket of what ifs... What if:
I fail
I gain it back
I get there and dont like it
I get to my goal and people expect more for me
I get to my goal and dont have anything new to do (I ve been doing this part for years and it has kept me busy!)
Well FOOEY to you Maintenance! YOU will not scare me anymore! I will overcome this obstacle and get to you and dance the dance of healthy living all over u!
