Ugh. Never posted a blog yesterday. I was going to do so after my party, but got home ridiculously late, so that didn't happen. So late, in fact, that today was a total waste.

But tomorrow I'll be getting back to the gym. If I can get the kids and myself out the door early enough, I'm thinking of trying the yoga class again...yikes!

It sounds like time is a big issue with you. Do you do any exercises at home? One thing I've been thinking of trying is getting up half an hour earlier and popping in an exercise DVD every morning. If you don't have any exercise DVDs, there are a couple of options that you might not have thought about that may be available to you. One is (of course) the exercise videos on this site. Although some of them seem to be a bit too advanced for a beginner (I've tried the office workout and the bootcamp day one. There was one move in the office workout that I couldn't do and the bootcamp day one was intense.) There are some other options that you may or may not have access to.

If you're a netflix member, their on demand service comes with the membership and they have some exercise stuff available with that. I haven't tried any of it, but it could be worth looking through.

If you get cable, a limited amount of on demand service may come with it. My cable has an exercise TV on demand with it. I've tried one of their videos, and it's not bad.

I will admit, however, that I'm having the most fun with the exercise DVDs that my mother gave me at one point (a while ago) that I just opened in the last few weeks. If you have an activity you enjoy you may find it worthwhile to just buy a DVD.

I hope the suggestions help. The biggest thing is finding the time, and I know that I have more luck if finding the time does not involve finding the time for a trip somewhere in addition to the exercise. That makes a half hour workout take an hour, and sometimes you can only spare the half hour.
