Back on track after a really rough couple of weeks. Spent some time up north with my sister, brother in law and assorted other family members and fell off the wagon, tripped getting back up again and rolled into the ditch, where I became soaked with water. I was pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale this morning and had lost about a pound in spite of my transgressions at the dinner table and away from the treadmill and weights. It's not really my sister's fault, I just like to bash her a bit.
I'm finding that I'm sticking to my regimen much better this time. I think it's because I've been telling myself that I'm not going to just lose 10 pounds and then go back to the way I've always eaten. I have done that so often in the past. Now, I'm seriously cutting back on what I eat and faithfully putting my food into my tracker and making myself get on that treadmill (thank you from the bottom of my heart JK!!) and it's making all the difference for me.
