I am so envious about your attitude towards school. I allow myself to get stressed out and overwhelmed probably around 85% of the time. Of course that's only making things worse. This blog came at the perfect time because I've been stressing about the fact that I have to work today, when I have a huge exam tomorrow... and a horrible exam, quiz, lab, and assignment filled week ahead. Your blog was very helpful--thank you!
hahaha, I never got to Calculus... But otherwise I can't even tell you how much I'm agreeing with you on that point. I'm capable of so much more than I limit myself to, and the catalyst that makes me able to accomplish more is not having something to fall back on. With my husband gone, I have to be my own person who entertains herself, finds and keeps good friends close at hand, and experiments with different activities to fill my time. If you take yourself out of your comfort zone, you will find new abilities you didn't know you had. Sorry you're swamped with reading/research right now! I'm sure you're just loooving grad school so far. :) Definitely as a pregnant lady I've not been weighing in every day because I'm not worried about it and I have been keeping tabs intermittently to make sure I'm on track, but when I'm focusing on weight loss, I tend to weigh in every day as a motivator for myself and a reflection of the eating of the day before. I need that weigh in to get myself in the right state of mind.
My scale lies to I trashed it. I have not had a scale for years but now I am happier. I won't allow it to define my days. Sounds like you have a great handle on it. Great going!

Your right I weigh once a week and it does affect my mood. I do love to watch the video blogs, what others say inspires me to keep going. Thanks for yours
You are so right about the scale--and I honestly try to avoid weighing myself every day because it's depressing! What isn't depressing is what the tape measure says and how different I look in the mirror when I look at my waist and how it keeps shrinking, and how different I look in my progress pics.... Have a great weekend and good luck with the studying!
I always love your vlogs. I happen to be a daily weigher but for some reason it doesn't effect me much. It is actually more of a habit than anything else. LOL. The only days that really matter to me is Fridays. That is my "weigh in day" lol I think Measurements really tell the story better....along with how your clothes fit and How you feel while working out! Thanks for Vlogging!
BITE OUR TONGUE!!!! lol.... we are doing the long division "type" stuff with my daughter right now.. we are a little beyond that but still in the same ball park. Then you mention calculus next.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... stop it!!! lol This math is driving me crazy. I have no problem understanding it but I have a problem EXPLAINING it... **sigh**
So I'm assuming "some of you already know them" is referring to your opinions? lol.. gotcha... I do have a problem with weighing myself alot and it DOES affect how I feel that day. STUPID.. just STUPID... I'm gonna have to break a bad habit and those are sooooooooo very hard to break@@!!!!
