the meal plan is hard to follow

So, there are a lot of beans on this menu. Are these canned beans? I do not like canned beans as they seem to be really high in sodium. So am I suppose to prepare a ton of different kinds of beans for these meals? Can I use black beans one week then white beans the next week? Are there different nutritional values to the different beans?
and some of this stuff I have NEVER heard of before!

again, I am not in the postion to go out and buy new stuff because I am dieting...I need to use up the cereal that I have on hand, first...and it is not the cereal being suggested for breakfasts...and I have chickens, so I get fresh the nutritional value different for fresh backyard eggs from store bought eggs?

    Wow!! I would LOVE to work at a place that offered a gym! Well, maybe, if it paid decent wages and was not too stressful...Right now I would LOVE To work anywhere that paid $10 an hour or more even if it did not have a gym!
I have been laid off for over a year and unable to find a job that pays enough to make it worthwhile to drive into town. Most jobs that do not require a 4 year degree is only paying $7.50 an hour and temporary or part time or both! I live 25 miles out of a town that has jobs.

    You're welcome! I am thankful that my job offers this resource to us and also we have a gym on site with classes and everything. Sometimes if it weren't for the gym at work, I might not make it to workout. With the kids in sports, homework, and making dinner, there is not always time.

    I spoke to the Nutritionist in class. She said that it is ok to eat the same beans all week if you want or you can switch them up. Either way is good. As for canned beans you can use them, but be sure to rinse them before heating. It washes off some of the sodium and also gets ride of the liquid that causes us to have gas after eating beans.

Fresh eggs are better than store bought eggs. Store bought eggs have a few more calories and slightly higher cholesterol than fresh eggs.

    I look at the meal plan to get ideas as what to eat, because I never know what to cook for dinner. breakfast and lunch are not a problem.

The question about the beans is a good question. I have a nutrition class every Wednesday as part of the Wellness program at my work for 9 weeks (it is free). So when I go to class today I will ask the Nutritionist about the beans as to whether you can use a mix of beans etch week or do they have to be different.

She has a blog that talks about Nutrition, Weight Loss, and other health issues. It is Her name is Bromwyn Schweigerdt, M.S.

I will let you know later today what her response is to the bean question.

    So how do I know that I am planning healthy meals? Is there a guide to what is suggested to eat per meal? I don't know how to ask the question... I want to make sure that I am eating all of the right calories...

    You do not need to use the meal planner provided in your nutrition tool. You can turn it off and plan your own meals :)
