    This is an amazing blog, Steph. I wish I had taped myself when I was feeling low when I just started on my journey.

Listen, you've definitely joined the right site. Check out the different ways of doing things here, check out some vlogs, start some challenges and you're off! Seriously, you're completely capable of doing this. Being emotional and being upset with yourself is completely normal. The first thing though is that yes, you are facing some sad truths about yourself BUT look at yourself now - you've joined Spark and you're on your way to changing your body. It's all about acknowledging the small things you do everyday and rewarding yourself for them.

To be honest, losing weight and getting into shape is easy. As in...if you think about it as a diet it's HAAAARD but if you think about it as the rest of your life and treating yourself good everyday it becomes easier and mistakes are better accepted and moved on from. Start by doing something simple and replacing the bad foods with good foods. Have a day when you go to the grocers with some clear ideas of what you want to to replace and just switch it round: change your sweet cereal to some low fat yoghurt, oats and fruit!, change your fatty fried chicken for some lean meat and veggies ETCETC. There's a recipes bit on this site too.

We're all on here, different sizes, different views of life but we're all here to help one another because essentially we're a massive group and together anything is possible, separate from here, sometimes it seems that nothing is possible.

    This was so genuine and raw and that's why I liked it. You definitely have some emotion about your weight going on, but that's not a bad thing. The first step is to know there is a problem and doing something about it. This is one of the best sites out there as far as support. We are here for you!

    This is an amazing intro, and an awesome first vlog. Firstly, let me just say that you have obviously made up your mind, and you are going to do amazing! I have no idea on kilos lbs conversion... but this website changes lives. It changed mine! I came on here and posted a very similar vlog 6 months ago... and since then I have lost 51 pounds. It can do wonders for you if you let it.

    emoticon Hi steph, wow you are so brave! i know myself that i could never do a video blog! i cant even put a picture of myself on this website! though i am considerably larger than you are i know exactly what you're going through and how your feeling!!!

firstly id like to say that you are really beautiful! inside and out! That's what you should focus on! anyhow, you've definitely come to the right place! i too have been apart of spark people since 2009 and i gave up, but i started again yesterday. ill be adding you as a friend, and will try to help you as much as i can! emoticon emoticon
