Spent the weekend clearing out all the non essentials and getting them over to the new apartment. I have too much crap. I am taking the time to go through stuff and get rid of allot of junk as I go. I am trying not to take stuff with me that I don't need or use. I want to down size my life as well as myself. LOL! I want to make it clutter free. Learn to save and enjoy rather than buy a ton of crap I am never gonna use. I didn't realize how much stuff I buy that I really don't use. It has been an eye opener. I am so excited about the stuff to come even though I am stressed too. I think that is a sign that things are looking up.

I wanted to get all my closets cleaned out and transferred and I got most of it done. The rooms are a bit smaller in the bedrooms but the living room is quite a bit larger and the bathroom is larger and nicer. We have more storage room which is needed, and we are taking full advantage of it. I can't wait to be done with it and get everything moved in. I hate sleeping in a new place though. It takes forever it seems to feel like home and I have a hard time sleeping for the first few months. I am giving my children the larger room. They spend more time in their room than I do so I thought that was fair. It won't be big enough but we will make do.

The boys are really excited about the move. We will be closer to a couple of their friends and we are still close enough that they can walk to the school on nice days. We have nice new windows and screens on all of them even the sliding glass door! I can open the windows and not get flies and bees and other bugs yea haw! You can tell it is well insulated too because it starts to heat up with just body heat if all the doors and windows are closed. We have washer and dryers on site and can use them night and day because they are in a separate building so it won't disturb other tenants! The little things in life that make you happy! I am however going to have to buy stock in glass cleaner! I have the sliding glass door and four large sliding door closets that are all mirrored! I know that is going to be a hassle to keep clean! I just love it though! The people really have taken good care of the place it almost looks like new. That is hard to find around this area. And there is a basketball slash tennis court for our use right there also and a play area for the little kids. I have a private patio and back yard that has a wooden fence for privacy so when I have my door open there won't be odd random people walking by and looking in to my apartment. At the last place other peoples little kids would just wander through the place if I had my doors open. I felt like a fish in a fish tank. I really think I will like this place way better.

My eating was a bit out of control yesterday but I didn't do to awful. Still just trying to maintain until some of my stress goes away. If all goes well I should be doing better by the middle of November. I forgot to weigh in again today and didn't even remember to blog all five of the days that I could have last week. Oh well I can start setting my routines again once I am in my new home! Feeling pretty okay for the moment lets hope it last!

Your new place sounds just wonderful! I'm so excited for you. With all the moving you're probably getting a lot of exercise. Moving things is like lifting weights! Good luck on a good night sleep.

Sometimes we have to have a fire lit under us to get us to move. Sounds like this is going to be a good thing for you and I am so happy for you!

sounds like you are on the road to new and better things. I am so happy for you. I was watching Extreme Home Makeover last night and got a reality check. This family with 5 kids or so was living in extremely cramped quarters.Dad spent his free time trying to help the local kids live healthier lives through exercise. They had moved from the Philippines where they slept on the floor and the rooms were even tinier that what they have now. Nothing like getting a little perspective in my life.

I know you will enjoy your new home as soon as everything settles down. It will be easier to organize your diet and exercise at that point. You are wise and doing well:)
