Hey guys, still camera-less here, but I'm getting some money on Thursday, so by next week I'll be back in the video blogging world!
Today was cardio day, and I did some ballet-inspired cardio from a video I found on UStream. I've been kind of obsessed with ballet this week since I decided to watch The Nutcracker Suite. (It's close enough to the holiday season, I can watch Christmas specials if I want to, dang it!) Plus I don't like feeling like I'm working out, like a straight-to-the-point cardio workout can do, so dance-inspired videos are more fun for me and I don't tire out as easily. It's a good thing! =)
In food news, if you want something that's delicious and awesomely low-everything (i.e. calories, carbs, &c.) Walmart makes this white corn and black bean salsa that amazing! It's good on veggies, whole wheat chips, I even put it on fish filets. It's seriously the tastiest thing in the universe. I'm sure it says so on the label somewhere lol.
Moving on to regular business, the Sunshine State has finally begun to cool down, the lovebugs have stopped swarming, and the nights are getting downright chilly. I LOOOVE wintertime so much more than summer, and I'd like to live somewhere where it snows once in a while! I haven't had a white Christmas since I moved from Virginia when I was 11.
Also, I taught myself how to knit, after years of telling myself that I should try it. It's super-repetitive which is great for my OCD since I love to count everything. I wanted to knit together two colors to make a scarf but I think I'll stick with one color for my first try. I wouldn't want to mess it up by trying to add yellow yarn to my black yarn. (Yellow + Black = Hogwarts Hufflepuff. Yes I am a nerd.)
Let me know how you guys are doing, and I wish you all a great weekend! I'll be here, knitting my scarf, watching one of those old Rankin-Bass stop motion Christmas specials. Don't judge! =)
