I am rushing out the door to make it to work on time and I look at my cell phone and saw that someone was calling me. I answered the call as I was walking to my car and it was my doctor. I sit in my car and thatís when my doctor says, ďyour baby is doing great, you have the right hcg levels. I want to see you in a couple of weeks for an ultrasound.Ē I get off the phone with the doctor and force myself not to cry from the joy of what I just heard. At this point I have no time to fix my makeup so I really canít cry.
I canít believe that I really am pregnant. After the past year and a half and dealing with my PCOS, I really thought it would have been harder to get pregnant. My husband and I tried once and thatís all it took.
I am only 3 weeks along and hope everything keeps going well. I know I have to watch what I eat and get lots of exercise. I have also heard that PCOS patients are at a higher risk for miscarriages. I think itís a bit odd to get an ultrasound so soon but, I canít wait to see the tadpole. When my Mom was pregnant with me my Dad nicknamed me Frog because, I kicked a lot. So the baby is officially nicknamed Tadpole!
