Stationary Bike - Confused

Started using a rowing stationary bike which is ok but I put on 2 lbs. Skipped one day and lost the 2 lbs. Can anyone with experience of using a stationary bike give me some advice? If I weigh more from doing this in the beginning will I eventually show weight loss in the future? emoticon

    Hmmm....not sure the bike is the reason for weight change. Do you do other exercises? If so, your weight may be because you're gaining muscle.

    You are converting fat to muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, and will help you to lose weight quicker in the long run.

    It's perfectly normal to see a rise on the scale for a few days when you do any new, strenuous exercise. That means you're doing it right!! There was a daily spark blog about it some months ago, I can't find it now but it's out there with all the propper medical explanations if you want to look for it!

    I don't know anything about the bike, but I do know that our weight fluctuates daily which is one of the reaons a lot of people say don't weigh every day as it can discourage too easily... it may just be one of those things and not related to the bike at all.
