My holiday wish for me is to be a stronger healthier person by my 41st birthday (January 8). As a means to that end I have decided to give myself a little challenge. I am going to walk a 5K on Thanksgiving morning. I have been walking pretty consistently for a couple of weeks now and I am sure that in the seven weeks that I have left to train, 5K should not be a problem (who knows maybe by then I will even be jogging a little bit!!)
So here is the plan:
To walk through the woods,
on Thanksgiving morning,
and to cross the finish line of my first (adult) 5K!
