I'm not one for blogs, but it seems appropriate today. I have had my ups and downs with the weight issue. I realize that all the exercise I am doing is not doing it (and trust me - I AM exercising). So it has to be the calories. Obviously I am taking in more than I think I am. So - no more guessing; I am using measuring cups and spoons. No more big containers; it's too easy to have a little more. I am clearing the cupboards of anything that can lead me astray. Portion control - here I come! (I hate the word "control"; it brings the rebel out in me.) I will commit to this for one month before I decide whether it's working.
