Its been a beautiful Monday here in Chicago. I mean blue skies & 64 degrees about 72 in the sun. Its a chilly 54degrees in my office so the open toe shoes & drinking cold water is giving me chill bumps. YIKES! Speaking of which, I inhaled water today. No I wasn't swimming, I was standing up about to take a swig of water & the water splashed up & went in my nose. You wanna talk about hurt, I mean it didn't last longer than 10minutes. BUT I had burning pain in my nose & my nasal passage was feeling quite sore & I felt light headed. I guess this is as close to near drowning as I'm gone get cause I don't believe in putting my head underwater under NO circumstances.
Yes, I love beautiful beaches with white sand but I just like to observe not play. Its that weird. Anyho, I cooked up a storm yesterday. I had meatloaf, baked salmon, baked chicken, broiled crab legs, bertolli's tuscan braised beef & potato (microwave of course), sweet potato pie, & yellow corn. I mean, my husband couldn't eat it all & I just gave them all a taste. He just kept asking me why did I cook all this? It truly didn't go together but I was cleaning out my freezer & frig for the holidays. Got to make room for that turkey & ham. YUMMY!!
So got up early this morning, I jumped right into my workout clothes & got instep with Gilad Total Body Sculpt, Dance & Be Fit, watched Joyce Meyer to keep that glory flowing, did Sharon Mann Kickboxing & Tai Chi & then did Namaste Yoga all from FitTv. It felt great to get most of my workout done. I did some shopping with my son (who came to work with me) to get my steps up & just to get out & enjoy this glorious day!
I was nearly good today in my eating. My breakfast, scrambled egg, blueberry yogurt, toast & caramel delight coffee. Snack a hostess twinkie, lunch homemade chili, keebler crackers & strawberry yogurt. I did have some Werthers Caramel Hardcandy. They are light & so good!! I have to admit, yesterday I had a caramel affy tapple. Its a caramel dipped apple, the apple was so fresh & the caramel was PERFECT!! This is the only time of year I indulged & it was soooo good.
So tonight, its abs & stretch & just some relaxing & reading the word.
