Today I got a ton of laundry done and about a zillion times more housework than normal--all on a pretty reasonable amount of food! I had a small, sensible breakfast, a moderate lunch and a good dinner. Normally I'd go back for second and third helpings, but I didn't! And I had plenty of green veggies. When my girlfriend made cookies, I didn't have any of those, either. I am getting plenty of water.
I think I got a lot of calories burned with the house work and also with carrying giant bags of laundry to and from the laundromat, but it's hard to say. I wish I hadn't had such a large lunch, but in the end I feel pretty good. I had a very productive day and feel like my commitment to this diet is solid, even if today was more of "maintenance" style eating day instead of planning on a loss.
I booked a special weekend for my gf and I at the end of the month--a night in a really nice hotel and some fun activities in a nearby city. I'm looking forward to that treat as being a nice reward for lots of hard work, and hopefully a time to indulge in "doing" rather than "eating". I also hope that by then I will have to buy some new pants because mine will be so loose. I suspect than in another 10lbs, I will start needing new pants, but I'm not that good at figuring that out.
For now, I'm drinking lots of water before bed and looking forward to another day on plan and looking forward.
