One of my goals is to eat a wide variety of foods, and not rely on the same old meals over and over again. So when I read this article, "Over 100 Superfoods for a Super You,"
I thought I would try to incorporate these foods into my diet. So I compiled a list of these foods, plus the 150 foods listed in Jonny Bowden's book, "The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth," to come up with a total of 195 Superfoods (there were some overlaps between the two lists).
My challenge is to eat my way through this list, and try everything at least once. I expect I will discover new foods that I like, and remember old favorites, and add these into my routine to increase variety in a healthy way. I don't know how long it will take me to do this, so I am setting a target date of 12/31/2010.
Some of these foods are going to be so easy to knock off my list, because they are delicious and I eat them all the time anyway:
Some foods I really like, but for some reason I haven't included them in my meal plan lately, so I'm looking forward to adding these back in:
These foods I am truly, truly dreading, because I think they are soooo horrible:
And these foods are going to be a real adventure, because I don't really know what they are, where to get them, or what to do with them once I get them. Does anyone have any ideas for these?

So I have printed off my list of 195 foods, and have one copy on the fridge and one in my purse for when I go shopping. This ought to be fun!
