A weekly gratitude journal

Sunday, October 03, 2010

Started a new journal yesterday.

A weekly gratitude journal..

I need to learn to be filled with gratitude for God’s grace.

I will just list whatever I am grateful for during the week. This exercise is to help me stay in a positive attitude and stop any whining or complaining I catch myself doing. Even though most people thinks of me as a positive person with a smile on my face, I know I have a lot of room for improvement, especially behind closed doors.

Looking forward to see if it works…….
One thing I will be listing……… how grateful I am for my Sparkworld!

That is a fantastic idea. It's easy to focus on the negative. Consciously focusing on the positive is a great mental exercise!

    Great idea Becky-
I've had a bad case of the whiners the past couple of weeks - and as it passes see in retrospect that it was a lack of faith - God is always there - I just hate the moments when I feel like He isn't - I have to remember - even when I don't feel or sense Him - HE'S with me always.

A gratitude journal is a great idea Becky! What a wonderful way to stay positive, by realizing how much we have to be grateful for and we do have a lot!
