Ideally, I would like to lose 1.5 to 2 pounds a week to reach my goal weight of 115 to 120 lbs. But I realize that maybe this change in my attitude towards food and exercise shouldn’t focus on a number on a scale. I say that to myself everyday…as I step on the weighing scale. I imagine myself being able to fit in my size smalls and being happier at 115 pounds. But I know of plenty of skinny people who are unhappy with their lives even though they are at their goal weight. I don’t think that “happy” is a number on a scale or a size 4. I think it means knowing that you are beautiful no matter what.
