Ideally, I would like to lose 1.5 to 2 pounds a week to reach my goal weight of 115 to 120 lbs. But I realize that maybe this change in my attitude towards food and exercise shouldn’t focus on a number on a scale. I say that to myself everyday…as I step on the weighing scale. I imagine myself being able to fit in my size smalls and being happier at 115 pounds. But I know of plenty of skinny people who are unhappy with their lives even though they are at their goal weight. I don’t think that “happy” is a number on a scale or a size 4. I think it means knowing that you are beautiful no matter what.

    Learning to love ourselves for who we are is a huge accomplishment. It takes a lot of introspection and hunting down the lies we believe about ourselves and taking that to God for the truth. I know you will get there! I could tell you all day long that you are a BEAUTIFUL lady! AND YOU ARE!!!! But you might not believe me. If you ask God--HE will tell you the truth and I think you will believe HIM. Hope you do this soon--because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!
