Here it is Oct. 1st and I actually reached my weight goal two weeks ago, but I've maintained (within a pound up or down) and am now in a whole new frame of mind. It feels wonderful! Now when I go to Costco, it's not so hard to pass up all the goodies in the frozen food section (though I still have problems passing all the fresh baked breads which are still warm to the touch in their packaging). I head for fresh produce and load up on blueberries, watermelon, snap peas, salad greens and my new goodies instead.
I'm so thankful to have found SP and its wealth of articles, charts, exercises, and friends to keep me on track. Now let's see if I can maintain. I intend to still log in daily, continue my 4-mile early morning walk, and swim till the water gets too cold. (Here in Tucson, that could be a while yet - it's still over 100.)
