September Goal Analysis

Friday, October 01, 2010

I promised to set out goals and hold myself accountable for reaching them. My goals for September were:

emoticonDrink 8 glasses of water per day
emoticonStay within my set calorie range
emoticonFind at least 15 minutes to exercise each day, even if it's only walking.

How'd I do?

emoticonDrank 8 glasses of water per day ACCOMPLISHED FOR 29 OUT OF 30 DAYS
emoticonStay within my set calorie range ACCOMPLISHED FOR 25 OUT OF 30 DAYS
emoticonFind at least 15 minutes to exercise each day, even if it's only walking. ACCOMPLISHED FOR 26 OUT OF 30 DAYS

I wish I'd been able to post 30 out of 30 for all 3 goals, but I'm okay with my B+. I am actually pretty proud of getting so close to my exercise goal because it was couch to 20-30 minutes per day.

October goals? I need to think about this.

Great job! I'd say that's more like an A-, but I won't quibble over your grading.

The main thing is, you met your goals the vast majority of the time, and that adds up to SUCCESS on this journey and the development of healthy habits for a lifetime.

Great job! Even though you didn't get 100% on your goals, you were darn close! You can't be 100% all the time. Mistakes will happen, and that's actually good because we can learn from them and improve ourselves. You should really be proud of yourself for your accomplishments in September. Let's raise our water glasses to a great October!
