I'm glad that you are recovering mentally and spritually from your accident. I am still a little shaky in the car because of my dad's crash earlier this summer. Wow--I am so thankful you were able to be there for that man. You are truly a kind and giving person. All of that rain you are speaking of right now made its way to Connecticut and we have to drive to the Hudson Valley for a wedding this weekend tonight.
When you were speaking of the divide between women, I couldn't help but laugh. I laid out about 15 dresses last night on my bed trying to figure out what to wear for this wedding. This was all mainly because I didn't want to look bad. My fingernails look bad because I have been stressed about this presentation I am preparing--and I am worried that people are going to look at my nails. And its all just silly!
I hope you have a relaxing day today and enjoy your weekend! 2364 days ago
DEBBIE_C I just really want to hug you right now! Jesus breaks EVERY fetter (chain). I am so proud of the challenge you accepted in driving yourself home. Talk about praising your way to a breakthrough... God is just good! Stay the course my sister...
I am also blessed by the discussion of "the wedge between us". I teach a young women's group and we have been breaking down some things among us.
I was able to see and hear most of the video. What I saw was very good. I like the way you just sit and tell your day like a story. My first thought of what you shared it that YOU really had a blessed day. God led you where you needed to be and even though thoughts of your accident haunted you....YOU and Andrew were able to help save another persons life. I don't believe in coincidence....I feel that was God led. And you were ALSO blessed in that you were faced with driving home in the really nasty weather.....and YOU did it! Andrew offered you help but YOU were able to do that. I would say that was a huge victory.
I can't say much for the cookie/cake things you found when you got home other than I think I might have been a little upset too. OF course, we all know that when we are really trying to do something right...and good for ourselves or others...sometimes we get tempted tempted tempted to try and toss of off track. Don't be too hard on the family.....you are so good with words maybe you can just ask them ....like Doctor phil would say..."What were you thinkin?" Tee hee hee
I wish I could have heard more. It was very good.
WE, like you, have had rain almost all day long. Tomorrow is supposed to bring us the really bad stuff. UGH! Its good you decided to stay in....I am going to do the same. Stay safe....hope the rain is not too bad.....and may God bless you in abundance. Karen 2365 days ago
