Tuesday - Total Commitment

And so it continues. 'It' is day 2 of my streak where I am proving I can follow through and stay focused on my expectations of self. Not easy today, as changing bad habits for good require effort. And effort I put forth...exercise, tracking and publicly stating where I'm at in the process. I'm from the instant gratification age and am anxious for this streak to stretch beyond a measly 2 days. sigh

    Stick with it and even if you falter, just make sure to get back into it again. Each time I slip up I see it as a way to see if I can make it longer than before without falling off track.

    It does take time and even when you think a new habit is ingrained - the old one can slip in under your defenses

    Keep at it you know there will be days where you don't do so good. Be kind to yourself and just get back on the horse that is the only strategy that works. I often lose focus and put some weight back on but I rationalise it by imagining how enormous I would be if I didn't keep making these efforts to keep as close as possible to a healthy weight. Good luck and I wish you success.
