have you ever dreamed of eating that good looking dessert?

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

only to find when you ate this yummy looking treat it was not all it was cracked up to be . the taste just was not there and it lacked in not only flavor and taste but added calories to a already high calorie day . my daughter brought this strawberry wonder . it looked like you wanted to knock the holder of the delight down and eat it all down fast . (did not do this just temped ) but after eating one bite it was not as i thought it would be . so i spit it out and cleared my mouth . will not eat when its not what i want to eat . lately food is not as great as i remember . is it me or just my tastes changing . who knows.

So true, some deserts are better looked at than eaten.

That's the way to go. I have found that what I once desired, no longer has appeal to me. If I do sample something , I find it not as tasty as I remember it.

I have found, and I'm stealing this quotation from someone else, nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

I've gotten to the point where, if I didn't make the dessert myself for some special occasion, then I'm not going to even both to try it. It's not worth it. Mind you, all of my teeth are of the sweet variety, so it's not about not wanting sweet things. I just stick to my light ice cream and try new lighter SP recipes and only splurge once in a very rare while.

What an amazing thing to have taken that bite then SPIT IT OUT! Would the old you have eaten it anyway??? Way to go!
