Thought for the Day.

Monday, September 27, 2010

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8).

Thanks for this scripture--it sure fits everyone's situation and lives, no matter what is going on with them.

I hope that you are feeling better than you were not so long ago. I've been keeping you in my heart and prayers. Take care of yourself, dear friend.

    Gentle hugs,
    Sylvia

I can't read this scripture the same way anymore thanks to a crazy Aussie who has wonderful scripture songs for the kids. His lyrics were accurate but with his accent some of the words came back from my children's mouths a bit differently! Thanks for the fun memories tonight!

This is a verse I hold onto though.... lean not on your own understanding, but in all ways acknowledge Him. Good words to live by!

I love this scripture too. I learned when my son died ( suicide) how much I had to trust in the lord for everything including breathing. He directs my path. He guides me in all areas of my life. I have learned to let go and let God. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your words of comfort and of strength. Keep smiling and stay focused Diane
