Back in Illinois for Winter (Brrrrr!)

Monday, September 27, 2010

First, just want to say that I kept up my streak over the weekend. Walked 3 miles each day and tracked all my food. I'm on my 32nd straight day now of the streak.

I went to my 40th high school reunion over the weekend. It was the first reunion I attended. It was fun and very interesting. We have all grown up! I could only recognize one person, and that was because I had seen his picture on facebook. I had to go by nametags for everyone else. We were all doing it. It was fun catching up with people. It was fascinating to hear how people had been spending their lives and to see how people had aged.

I spent most of Sunday driving back from Tennessee to Illinois. The cool weather was a bit of a shock after the heat of Tennessee, but it makes for very refreshing walking weather. It's all good!

WTG on keeping the streak going while on the road!

Glad you enjoyed the weekend...wondering what all is hidden behind that "it was interesting"! LOL

Brrr is right - just got myself a new rain-proof thermal jacket for outdoor running. Looks like I may be able to try it out today already!
