O.K. so I had a Dr. apt. this week and guess what he asked me? "What have you been doing?" I told him that I have been taking Tahitian hula dancing group classes at 24 hour fitness and using a nutrition tracker on an online website called SparkPeople. He asked me to tell him more about it. He said he was very impressed with the results and that I had lost 10 pounds since my last visit to him 6 months ago. I can't believe I was 160 with clothes and shoes 6 months ago! I started SparkPeople with a scale that was off and went and bought a scale after a month of the program. I didn't put a scale up on my SparkPage because I was embarrased about my weight. I have to say that I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which means I am hypothyroid which translates to I have very slow metabolism and that makes it extremely difficult to lose weight and inches. SparkPeople and Hot Hula are an amazing blessing to me. I have also gone from a 39 inch waist in June to a 34 inch waist (I measured today.) My goal is to weigh 135 and have a 31 inch waist.
