Closing in on a hundred!

I would admit if you had told me in 2008 when I was having trouble carrying my 372 up those hills in the mini-marathon that I could loose 100 pounds, I would have said that I was committed to it, but in the back of my mind, I would have thought it was slim to none! Well, I am there...one pound at a time. I have realized that it can be just one pound or even a half a pound a week...they still add up! I have gained confidence, organization, and follow-through. I have committed to myself to get the other 80 pounds, one pound at a time.

It is my goal to take my family with me down the path to the 80 pound weight loss. I want us all to be healthy and set an example for the next generation. I am excited and up for the challenge. Slow and steady....

    Outstanding work. Knowing you can do it will make it that much easier - mentally anyways. As you know, you have the attitude that will let you reach your final goal. So many people get disappointed in small losses and give up. I blame shows like The Biggest Loser for that personally. You have it absolutely right - any fat loss is progress. One pound, one meal, one workout, one day at a time.
