I started back on the up day down day diet this week. I had my wedding dress alteration last Saturday and I have an inch to go until I can zip up my dress so I need to kick it in to HIGH gear. She gave me 3 weeks to work hard to lose the inch and I have my next appointment Oct 9th. I'm so hoping I fit into my dress by then! I also plan my exersice routine for the next few weeks by printing out the class schedule at my gym and highlighting the ones I'm going to so I plan my nights around my classes.
Everyone knocks the JUDDD diet, but I like it. It works for me. I'm not grumpy or miserable on my down days like everyone says, I carefully plan my food for the day and I seem to stay OK. The best advise I read online was to try to wait as late as you can before eating anything - so I've been trying to last until 1:30pm before I eat, then I'll have a can of campbell's chicken noodle soup and a Jello. around 3pm I eat a few grapes and baby carrots. Then on my way home from work - to stop me from binging as soon as I get home I drink a V8. I try to stay busy right after work and go to the gym or shopping so I don't go home and eat.
Once I get home, I usually will make a Gordon's fish fillet and a bunch of steamed broccoli or a salad with a tiny bit of dressing and a jello later - that completes my 510 calorie day. It's not horrible and I am actually getting my veggies/protein/fruit intake for the day. Tea really helps too!
