Trip to Ireland & London ll

Thursday, September 23, 2010

Since my first blog on this subject I'm giving this a lot of thought. I've gotten some better prices for a round trip to Ireland. Then Ryan Air from Ireland to London return. I would be traveling alone, since no one in the family wants to travel in January. I've just sent my passport renewal. I'm pretty sure I am going for it. Thank you all for your advise and help.

Wish I was going with you.
RT to Dublin was the best I could get back in 09. Left from Newark around 11pm, arrived Dublin at 7am.

I love London. What a great choice. I travelled and lived there for 14 months. Ireland is beautiful as well, although I was there less than a week. I hope you get to spend a lot of time there.

Congrats on making it happen.

You are awesomesauce.

How wonderful ! What an amazing trip that will be! I've never been to Ireland (even though my dh is full-blooded Irish) and haven't been to London for nearly 20 years! (Where does the time go?!)
I'm so thrilled for you!

Be very very careful of Ryan Air.... it's cheap, but watch out for the extra charges i.e. weight and number of bags, etc... I've been living in Ireland the last 12 years and have used Ryan Air ... it's afforded me to travel Europe, but they are trying to make it so you just walk on the plane with yourself... so just be cautious! Have fun! Bring WARM clothes as I see it's January you're visiting? Liz

Yay! I really hope you do go for it. I wish I could go with you, we could egg each other on during the flight and have so much fun. You will be fine going it alone - it will be a huge adventure.

Have a fabulous time. I hitchhiked alone in Ireland! That was a few decades back but everyone was very kind and helpful! The music is great also!
