Maintenance means weight fluctuations.

Monday, September 20, 2010

Just a little FYI.

Have a great day!

**edit: I didn't say I like it, lol, but it is going to happen. Strength Training will also affect the scales - more muscle means more weight.

Totally agree. I fluctuated back up to the top of maintenance last winter and don't want the same thing to happen this year. Will have to be very careful.

So it does, but you're AT maintenance, and what a WONDERFUL acheivement to be there! I feel honored to know you well enough to tell you how much I admire that achievement. I've only been around for the last few pounds, but wow, Linda, what a journey! You're doing a great job taking care of yourself, your wonderful husband and your great dad! Thanks for setting an example that helps me see that I can't help others if I don't help myself!

Thanks, Raylin, I needed to read that. I am bouncing like a basketball back and forth. Fortunately, it's only a pound or two, but I was so used to losing steadily before, and this is disconcerting. Comforting to read I am not alone.

That is very reassuring. I know weight fluctuates, but it still ticks me off when the scale suddenly shows a bigger number than I anticipated.
