Staying Focused

Sunday, September 19, 2010

It is time to put my whole heart and soul into staying focused on this project of losing the additional pounds that have accumulated over the years. One would think that having control over one's body would be the easiest thing, but discipline is the first requirement. Apparently, having everthing planned will produce the best results. Thank goodness every day is a new and different experience.
Today started with eating birthday cake without any thought about my plan until it was consumed. That will not keep me from making a plan for the rest of the day. The kids left and carried the cake with them so that will take care of that. Confessing made me feel better.

The best part to me is the fact that every minute is a chance to do better and make more positive and healthy choices and the fact you sent the cake away is a huge goal met. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

The most important thing is that you didn't continue to eat more unhealthy foods. Using the food tracker is an immense help in showing what and how much we actually consume in a day. Keep believing in yourself and anything is possible. Don't give up! You can do it!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I ate a really unhealthy breakfast too. I hate that, because it started my day off badly. Having said that, I can make the rest of the day super healthy, and so can you. :)
