Its the first day to yet another try to lose some weight. I am feeling good, mentally and physically. Gonna get to the gym in the evening. Seriously need to lose the weight so those who have done this before any tips ?

I eat normal , no cravings but this time around I am going to keep a very close check on how much I eat even if its healthy coz theres gotta be soemthing I am missing which is sooo screwing my weight loss goals.

Here goes nothing

I was 54 when I joined SparkPeople and 56 when I came back and started my Spark Program, starting with Stage One. This is a one day at a time program, but if you do the SparkPeople Program Steps, it really does work. I am terribly average, it's the SP program that is extraordinary.

I found logging my foods in the Nutrition Tracker helped me to lose 90 lbs in 16 months! I started at 210 and went to 120.

I hung clothing that was too small on my closet door and every time I would get discouraged I would try them on. Week by week they started fitting! That kept me motivated.

Welcome aboard, we really are all in the same boat! Sometimes we can sail right along but sometimes we have to be rowing like crazy!

You can make it happen! SparkPeople really does work!

    I'd suggest consistency. Lots of people get all excited to try a new "miracle" weight loss program and do very well in the beginning, then fall off and gain all their weight back plus some. DIET and EXERCISE. Period. A constant, unrelenting, smooth steady drive. And be patient and keep going. The scale is 1/3 of the equation. The other two are measurements and how you feel. Don't use words like "try" and "if". JUST DO IT!
