While you were sleeping

Friday, September 17, 2010

Alot happens at my house while I am sleeping now that we have a kitten-- stuff is kocked over, gotten into, my girl cat climbing to the highest point in the house to get away from him and MUfasa hiding so he is left alone... today I woke with him playing in my bed with his fish that has a rattle in it and I felt my face and it hurt-- he must have wanted to play with me as I slept...

So much for sleeping safely!

Oh, how well I remember those early weeks with Jake and Nellie!
I hope you put medication on the scratch - I always use neosporin.
Give him a kitty hug from me and tell him I said to behave himself or Nellie will come visit - and no one messes with Nellie!

Yikes! I wake up with scratches on my legs because APPARENTLY, me rolling over in my sleep translates to snakes under the covers in cat language.

ouch! My daughter had a kitten once and it loved to run crazy at night, well my hb fell asleep and the kitten ran across his face. He woke up and said his head was burning. He asked if we did something to him, we were killing ourself laughing(me and the kids). He had a scratch about 4 to 5 in. across his forehead. He was bleeding and so confused. We didn't know the cat had got him until we saw the blood, we were laughing at the crazy cat. Kitten are a trip! I hope your face feels better.

I have always had grown rescued cats. Last year I was able to rescue a 9 week old kitten. She is still wild, but she would play with the knots on my quilt all night long when we first got her.... We also had a collar with a bell on it at the beginning so we could find her. That bell rang all night long. LOL kittens are fun but wild!

I have to smile, sorry, we had puppies and the same happened. You go to bed and all is quiet, then you get up and omg...the mess. It is over now thank goodness. That scratch looks sore. I hope you have a wonderful day tracey and no snacking tonight. Michelle.
