In the last 5 months I've noticed a lot of changes about myself. What I put in my mouth and when has changed the most. But the most surprising change? What comes out of my mouth.
A few phrases people have actually heard come from my mouth:
*Birthday cake doesn't really sound good right now.
*I'll substitute the steamed veggies for the fries.
*Sorry, I already spent the calories on watermelon, but thanks for making brownies.
*Let's take the stairs, it'll be faster.
*I'm going out for a short run, two miles or so.
*If I bend like this and put my leg here, my butt looks good!
*Could you get me the next size down?
*I hope my boobs don't get much smaller.
*Babe, I'm short on calories, will you share a sandwich with me?
*Can I see your nutritional info?
*Let's go hiking again tomorrow.
*I think my toes look skinnier.
*Hell yeah, I'll be on top.
And so many more. All of this tells me that there has been a fundamental change in the way my brain works. New neural pathways, created for the sole purpose of keeping me healthy, have been formed! And for me, that's as cool as how good my butt looks.
