On Second Thought...The whimp may be back...

Thursday, September 16, 2010

After my big brave blog the other day, and reading a little more of my p90x book, and reading more of my team's posts, and my neck bothering me the last couple days, I'm thinking of following one of my buddy's leads and doing Jillian's 30 day shred to start instead of p90x, then starting p90x in January.

I am committed to starting on October 1st (2 weeks). And so it is written!!! I just put a countdown on my iGoogle homepage, and I will add it to my list of "Other Goals". I will purchase the program today.

I'm not convinced the whimp isn't back, but I'd like to think I'm listening to my body and my gut. I didn't get out of shape overnight, I'm not going to go from out of shape to great shape overnight. I want my changes to stick, so I'm going to take it slow.

Not a wimp! You need to do what you feel comfortable with. I have heard good things about Jillian...a lot of people like her workouts. I am not sure I will be able to do P90X in 2 weeks either, but I will cross that bridge when the time comes. Good luck!

I have heard great things about Jillians workout and a few of my customers have done exactly what you are gonna do. The felt they were ready for a bigger challenge after doing it. You will then be able to do great on p90x emoticon

I think it's a great idea to start with the 30 Day Shred. You can do it!!

Today is Day 2 of Level 2 and although my body measurements aren't changing and the scale refuses to go *down*, I feel really good. My arms and legs feel stronger. I know I'm making progress.

There's a time and a place for P90X in your life, and you'll know it when you get there. In the meantime, just get shredded!

not whimpy at all! You are listening to your body and building up to the harder stuff. I should do the same thing but I am a bit impatient! emoticon

I'll still cheer you on even though we are doing different programs I am starting Oct as well!

Not whimpy! You are doing great! I might just dust off my P90X and join you in January.
