Yup - tight Quads!
I have been advised to do 5 on each leg of this Standing Quad Stretch and hold for 10-30 seconds.
My left foot actually touched my butt again! Great reunion!!
**edit: by last night my right heel met my butt! WooHoo!
**edit: today I was able to sit cross-legged on the floor! my knees are too high, but I was sitting cross-legged!!
**it is Sunday and I have been doing this stretch for 6 days now and not only can I now touch my butt with either foot while wearing shoes, I discovered that my knees are also finding a lower position - more towards the floor - and my heels are closer to my body! A definite win-win situation!
