Just DO IT!

So many people have noticed a difference in me (my weight). It's such a great feeling. I finally feel good about myself. I have some toning to do, and I have to realize that I'm not going to have that perfect body, thanks to my two babies (now 10 and 11). But I'm happy with me. I'm happy that I stuck with it. People have asked, "What have to been doing?". Well, a lot! I watch what I eat, and at first I thought that I would lose the weight than go back to the way I was eating before...NO!! This is a lifestyle change. Once you start, than you have to Just DO IT, stick with it. Now when/if I eat like I use to (like crap) than I feel terrible! My stomach hurts, I feel like a big slug. Now don't get me wrong, I have a treat every now and then, you still have to live a little. And I think what people don't understand is that I have been working at this for 2 years. It wasn't overnight and I had a lot of set backs, but I kept at it. That's the key, to keep at it. Even when you have a bad day or a gain, just keep at it. Don't give up. Consistency!! Little by little you get there. I also work out. I run and I hated to run when I started this process. I've learned to love it. It's a challenge for me and I set small goals for myself. I started with just working my way up to a mile, now I'm doing 5K's in under 30 minutes. Something else that I think has helped and made a difference is drinking water and getting at least 7 hours of sleep. I have noticed that when I'm tired, I eat. And if I'm thirsty for some reason I eat. Go figure! But those things have worked for me. So Just DO IT, keep at it. It does come off, its work but you feel so much better about yourself.
