So, apparently, some people may be reading this :). If you are thanks, for the comments and the motivation. Today marked day 2 of my Slim Series Odyssey. I was a little sore from Shape It Up yesterday, but pleasantly surprised at my level of fitness. It's not great, but having Jillian kick my butt for a month seems to have paid off.
Today I did Firm It Up. This is the lower body tape, and wow does Debbie know how to deliver a tough, unweighted lower body workout. On the plus side, no lunges, although there are about a million squats and legs lifts and kicks and pelvic tilts, and then when you are whimpering in pain she starts a tough ab section. All in all, this is a fun tough workout. It kept my heart rate up pretty well, and my legs were shaking by the end even without having picked up a weight. I know Debbie's style is not for everyone, but I love her personality, and I have gotten good results in the past.
Tomorrow I have Mix It Up scheduled. From what I remember this is a total grab bag workout with a little of everything. I seem to remember it being my favorite. We shall see.... that is if I can actually walk tomorrow!
And Greekgirl, yes this is Debbie's next series after Slim in Six. It's more intense as far as strength training, but most of the workouts aren't as cardio focused as Burn it Up. I have done Slim in Six in the past, though only for 4 weeks. I have trouble doing one thing for longer than that, especially the same workout everyday, but I do love Debbie's style and still do Keep it Up sometimes.
