Ok, Seriously that does hurt being told by someone else that what you want will never come. Especially something your trying so hard to accomplish.
That stinks!
You keep at it and dont let the small minded and rude words get to you. Smile and continue on your path to being healthy.

    Sounds like an insensitive man....
He probably didn't realize how powerful his words may have been...
OR how they came across to you...

You ARE going to lose those 42... and then you can force feed him his own foot. lol :p

Let's hope that later, after he made his rude remark, he realized what he'd said and done, and felt bad about it. I hope he feels bad anyway, because that was a very unkind thing to say! The one thing about being overweight, and I have been off and on, and more on than off, my entire life, is that people easily judge you by your weight and not your heart, mind or personality. He made a stupid mistake and I hope he apologizes to you. But good for you for sticking to your guns! My hat is off to you! And, yes, Huskers are in the blood!

    I loved your little sportscast!

Sorry, about your friend and his comments. Sometimes those who love us the most can be our worst advocates in our weight loss journey, because they think we're going to change so much that we won't have room for them in our lives anymore. And, sometimes (unconsciously) they may not know how "to be" around our transformed selves.

Just keep being yourself, hanging onto your commitment and forging forward in your weight loss journey emoticon emoticon

Sorry about the asshole friend. Men seem to be extra snarky sometimes. Just use that as fire to make sure you get to your goal.....then approach him about something like...where he is taking you for a 1st class vaca since he must be rich by now!!! haha

Wow some "friend" he is! You stick to your guns girl! Maybe he had a few too many beers and wasn't thinking? Best to stay away from negative people. Come to SP where your real friends are! Good for you for "letting it go" Watch him gain while you stay on track and reach your goal. "Pat on Back" to you for holding your ground. And thanks for sharing. Your videos are one of a handful of videos I look forward to and since I did my first video last week I want to do more. I think it's easier to listen to a Vblog than read. If I am shopping on Amazon or deleting junk e-mail or even playing a Facebook game I can do and listen at the same time. But I usually watch and listen.
Anyway, good job - you have reason to be proud of yourself- You will get there and the reward will be wonderful!
Thanks for sharing
